I am totally in LOVE with the new ‘modern zinnia’ stamp set. It is such a gorgeous flower in 2 sizes, outlines and solids.  Then we stepped it up a notch with coordinating DIES!!! The dies are on their way can’t wait to show you a sample with them.

I started this card with a base of melon cardstock and then sprayed it with orange splash, then stamped the smaller solid zinnia in currant.

I finished it off with a popped up vintage labels die 2. This was a fun quick and easy card.

OK so we all have them the cards we rack our brains over. The ideas that are in our head but when put to paper something is missing BUT WHAT?? I am dying for my new catalog shipment to arrive but luckily I have some preview products that I have been playing with.  I hope you enjoy!  This is one of my favorite sets. As a proud and bonafide “geek” who has worn glasses most of her life I literally squealed when I saw it. It will also be released with a coordinating die set.

I made this card for my oldest niece Leah for Valentine’s day. The girls now live almost 5 hours away instead of 20 minutes a huge adjustment for all of us so the receive goody boxes and they love crafty goodies to add to their stamping hobbies and homemade cards.  I used the sketch from this week’s Freshly Made Sketches, also used a doily for our A Muse Studio consultant challenge and will be entering it Sentimental Sundays “love is in the Air” Challenge.

My adorable cousin Avery is turning 2 on our shared birthday February 16th and her party theme was Nemo yesterday!! Well what kind of cousin would I be if I did not put my talents to use.

Yes, I made 40 of these cuties. I used the Gypsy to make banner from Stand and Salute cartridge and the font is Alphalicious cartridge. Nemo was created at 3″ in Cricut Craft Room from the Best of Pixar cartridge. The kraft and sugar cardstock, as well as bermuda shimmer couture are A Muse Studio.  The black and orange cardstock are miscellanious, while embossing powder is from Stampendous and is called “Golden Sand”. Below is a peek at the digital inside to go with the theme.

I have an adorable card that was a kit for our Operation Write Home Party a few months back but never got to share. Though this wasn’t meant for Valentine’s day it surely could have been used as one.

Coltyn’s 1st birthday invites

I know it has been a long time since I posted but with many of us life has gotten in the way of what I feel is important. 2012 was not a great year but I will spare you the gory details all the way until the 31st but here is to hoping 2013 will be better. Whether my circumstances change how I deal with them will. Enjoy what I do have including my creative passion and passion for serving others are becoming priorities in my life again as that is what brings me happiness. So I did not share this invite before but as I am beginning work on another cousin’s invite I thought I might share as I love how they turned out. I used the gypsy and welded together the rectangle and the animals. I created the wording in open office and used the amuse studio grass die.
